Need Help Finding A Church?  

The majority of students involved in Belmont RUF attend Midtown 12South location, but there are lots of great churches in Nashville.  Looking for a ride to church? Contact RUF Campus Minister Kevin Twit (473-5826) kevintwit@comcast.net and he will be able to get you in touch with someone to give you a ride. 

Midtown 12 South: www.midtownfellowship.org Another congregation of Midtown that meets in the same place where RUF meets, ½ mile from campus - casual.  9 and 11am on Sundays, great preaching and acoustic worship.  12th Ave South, 1/2 mile south of Wedgewood in an old white church building - 2415 12th Ave. S  (It is also where Belmont RUF normally meets on Tuesdays)---(Contact Jordan Gudmestad at 314-956-6745 if you need a ride/someone to sit with.)

 Midtown Fellowship (Downtown): www.midtownfellowship.org  They meet at “Rocketown” a skatepark located downtown 601 4th Ave S.  Sunday worship is at 10:00 am Casual dress, nearly 1000 people - lots of students, great worship and preaching.

 Covenant Presbyterian Church: www.covenantpres.com  Covenant is located in Green Hills at 33 Burton Hills Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215  Sunday worship - 8:15 am & 11:00 am.  Sunday school - 9:40 am. Covenant is 10 minutes from campus and is more traditional in its worship and dress.

 Christ Presbyterian Church: www.christpres.org They meet at 2323 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215 – about 15 minutes from campus.  Worship - 9:15 and 10:45 and Sunday School (including a college class) @10:45am  Christ Presbyterian is a large Presbyterian Church with great preaching and blended worship.  Dress up some if you go. 

 City Church of East Nashville: www.citychurcheast.org  City Church is committed to reconciling the diversity of East Nashville in Christ.  They meet at East Literature Middle School, 110 Gallatin Rd. Nashville, TN 37206.  Sundays 5:00 pm. They have great worship (a mix of old hymns set to new music and black gospel), weekly communion, and casual dress. (If you need a ride and/or would like to sit with fellow Belmont students, please contact SueAnn Shiah at 248-974-4852.)  They are currently in a transition period and searching for a new senior pastor.

 Midtown Fellowship – Creive Hall:  www.midtownfellowship.org is where RUF campus minister Kevin Twit and his family attend.  Currently this church meets in the building where RUF meets, and where Midtown 12 South (above) meets.  They meet from 4:30-6pm on Sundays and have great preaching in a more intimate setting with very stripped down acoustic worship.  (Contact Kevin Twit at 615 473 5826 if you want a ride.)

 Grace Presbyterian Church:  gpcnashville.org  They meet at Edmundson Elem. School 851 Edmondson Pike, Brentwood TN 37027.  Sunday School — 9:30 AM Worship — 11:00 AM.  Grace Pres is a smaller family-oriented church with blended worship and great teaching and are looking for folks to help with worship.  Corenerstone Presbyterian Church: www.cornerstonepresfranklin.org/  Cornerstone is liturgical but not stuffy with great worship and preaching and weekly communion.  They are located in downtown Franklin TN, about 25 minutes from campus.

 Christ Community Church: www.christcommunity.org Christ Community is in Franklin TN, about 25 minutes from campus at 1215 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN 37069.  Sunday worship - 9:30 am & Sunday school (including college class) @ 11:00 am.  Christ Community has good preaching and contemporary worship and is pretty big.  They are currently looking for a new senior pastor since founding pastor Scotty Smith has retired.

 West End Community Church: www.westendcommunitychurch.org West End is at 235 White Bridge Road, Nashville, TN 37209 Sunday worship - 9am & 10:30 am.  West End is probably 15 minutes from campus and has great preaching and contemporary worship.

The Village Chapel www.thevillagechapel.org While Village Chapel is not a PCA church they are in line with what the PCA believes.  They meet about 5 minutes from campus at 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. All services are held in the 100 year old chapel of the St. Bernard building, 2021 21st Ave. S. and feature great teaching and contemporary blended worship.
